Step 1:
The bone we will draw in this guide on how to draw is the fairly standard and classic bone shape you have seen before.
In this first step, we will start with the first half of the bone.
The end of the bone is drawn with two rounded edges and looks like the top of a heart.
It will be a bottomless heart shape; instead, it will span straight edges that serve as the central pillar of the bone.
That will be all there is to this step, and you are now ready for step 2!
Step 2:
For this section of your bone drawing, you will extend the centre of the bone to the other side of the one you drew earlier.
To do this, extend another straight line from the end you drew earlier. So this line will end with a rounded line at the end.
This rounded line will form the other side of the bone, which we will work on in the next steps.
Step 3:
This step in our guide to drawing a bone will allow you to complete the outline you’ve been working on.
To do this, you can draw the second bump of the shape at the end of the bone. This will connect to both sides of the inner spine of the bone, as shown in the reference image.

Then, once you have those lines, you’re ready to move on to the final step! We mentioned adding a few personal details before continuing, and you should do that now if you wish!
Your details can be small touches of texture or large enough to change the overall feel of the image. You can draw it to look like a giant chicken leg or incorporate it into a pattern.
